Very flimsy plastic that flexes badly when gently touched. Lights don't work when batteries are fully inserted - one battery has to be held slightly out of the battery compartment before anything happens. Battery lid doesn't fit when batteries are inserted. The fibre part doesn't fit very well into the base unit.
I am dissappointed. The item came with open box inside the package, where the items were scattered throughout the package inside. Except one, the others were broken. When I assembled the broken parts, they made up not 18 pieces, but 12. See the pictures please. It also sheds shadow on the quality. Very bad
